The series is set against Kochi, which much like the series itself, exists at the intersection of tradition and exchange. For centuries,

this coast connected India to the wider world through trade in gold, spices and cultural dialogue. What arrived here was not merely

received - it was absorbed, interpreted and woven into something distinctly its own. Today it not only forms the backdrop, but also

partakes in the dialogue of Eternal Series, of Passage and Place.

Few motifs have travelled as far or endured as gracefully, as the paisley. Across

centuries, it has moved through kingdoms, trade routes and cultures, gathering

new meanings while remaining unmistakably itself. Woven into textiles, carved

into architecture and carried across continents, it has become more than

ornamentation; it is a symbol of continuity, shaped as much by movement as by

memory. Like the cities and cultures it has encountered, the paisley has

continually evolved, absorbing new influences while retaining the essence of its

For this series, K.H. Radharaman reimagines the paisley as a contemporary

design language. Interpreted through pure silk, real zari and intricate

craftsmanship, it becomes more than a decorative element—it is the unifying
