PREFACE

"India, to me, is a living archive of textile culture - a land where every region tells its story through weave, motif, and material. My own family has been part of that story for over six centuries. For generations, we have been custodians of craft - master weavers of textiles in pure silk and real zari, keepers of techniques that defined the extraordinary and abundant past of our storied textiles.

While my ancestors innovated at the loom, bringing technique and excellence to the fore, my purpose has been to carry that spirit of innovation beyond the loom - to translate a 600-year-old inheritance into a contemporary voice.It was this intention that gave rise

to The House of Angadi - a bridge between the loom and you, told via pieces that express the timeless through a plural lens.

At its core, The House Of Angadi, stands for craft at its finest - strong, culturally rooted, and modern. We exist at the intersection of preservation and progress; with every creation, a deliberate act of enduring value, a layered outcome.
